The World of Nexus
In 2087, the world has finally regained stability after a global conflict known as "The Great Collapse." This conflict, triggered by resource disputes and AI malfunctions, left humanity with an important lesson—a new principle: "Conflict through negotiation, conquest through competition."
Nations strictly prohibit the use of armed force in real conflicts under the "Nexus Accord." Instead, disputes between nations, competition between corporations, and even personal conflicts are resolved through advanced AI robot competitions called the "Nexus System."
"Robot Battle Nexus" is the most refined form of this system. Programmers inject their logic and strategy into robots, battling in virtual and physical arenas. The blue and red robots have different characteristics and abilities, promoting diversity in programmers' strategies.
